Welcome to the Dare County Library Seed Library Information and Resource Guide
Anyone is welcome to 'checkout' seeds from our seed library, which can be found in all three Dare County Library locations. In this Guide, you'll find everything you need to get started with planting, growing, and harvesting seeds. Once you've harvested your seeds, we encourage you to donate some back so that our Seed Library can become sustainable and showcase plants that grow on the Outer Banks.
Seeds are available year-round, but quantities and types will vary based on supply.
