Dare County Library Seed Library Program

Learn all about the seed lending libraries we've developed for our three branches, available free to anyone, all ages.

NC Extension Dare County Master Gardeners

Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who provide educational assistance and programming to Dare County citizens on a wide variety of subjects such as lawns, fruits, vegetables, trees, and ornamentals. All that is necessary to be a Master Gardener is a commitment to learn about gardening and serve as a volunteer.

Dare County Libraries consulted with the Master Gardeners on many aspects of our Seed Library Program, including handouts, programs, and advice on books and seeds.
